  18 October 2024

The WHO Regional Office for Europe has created the Stories of AMR photobook to raise awareness about the increasing threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). The book features candid stories and testimonies from 53 member states, highlighting the dangers of AMR to human, animal, and environmental health. The message is the need to preserve antimicrobials, the cornerstone of modern medicine that has saved millions of lives. The photobook encourages everyone to use antimicrobials responsibly and increase efforts to curb the emergence and spread of infections, ensuring the global health crisis is not left for future generations.
